Hancock is up the road from Route 101, which traverses the state. To get to Route 101...

Once you're in the area:
All of the following directions are based on using Route 101, which
traverses southern New Hampshire from Portsmouth to Keene.

Wherever you're coming from, get onto Route 101 and take it toward
Peterborough.

... Coming from the EAST, take the exit off 101 where Routes 202 and 123 go north. This is a right turn as you enter Peterborough.
After eight or ten minutes on 202/123 north, Route 123 goes left (and 202 continues straight). The sign says "Hancock 3." Take this left into the village of Hancock. At the stop sign diagonally across the intersection you'll see a water fountain and a sign for Route 137 north. Take 137 north (the water fountain will then be on your left). After about ¼ mile, 137 curves sharply to the left. At this point, you'll see a dirt road going up a hill straight ahead of you (Evergreen Hill). Take it.
After less than 1/2 mile you'll come to an intersection of dirt roads at
a stop sign. Go left at this intersection. Our house is the first one
on the right.

... Coming from the WEST, take 101 east through Dublin, then look for where 101 intersects Route 137. Take 137 north, a left turn. Route 137 leads into and through the village of Hancock, then takes a sharp left at the water fountain. Take this left and continue on 137. About 1/4 mile past the water fountain, 137 curves sharply to the left. At this point, you'll see a dirt road going up a hill straight ahead of you (Evergreen Hill). Take it. After less than 1/2 mile you'll come to an intersection of dirt roads at a stop sign. Go left at this intersection. Our house is the first one on the right.
